Hysteria (2011)QuickRating: This British period comedy about the invention of the vibrator is well-acted, nicely-shot, somewhat original and has an incredibly likable and truly engaging cast, that includes the charming and talented Maggie Gyllenhaal, but sadly, "Hysteria" is not nearly as funny or witty as it sounds, nor is particularly memorable of brilliantly inventive. It really could have been sensational, but it ends up being mildly enjoyable and very average.
