According to the Sunday Express of London, Scarlett Johansson is set to play Elizabeth Bennet in the film adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”, by Seth Grahame-Smith, who reworked Jane Austen’s classic novel into something, um, more visceral than a simple comedy of manners. In this version, Elizabeth and her sisters use Chinese martial arts to battle a plague of zombies while angling for husbands in their downtime. Her suitor, Mr. Darcy, is equally skilled in ninjitsu. Mike White, who wrote "School of Rock", will direct.
